Celebrate commencement with ACC

Commencement is the celebration of Austin Community College graduates’ hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. The college is proud to recognize student achievement with graduates and their families.The event honors graduates of ACC’s college-credit programs as well as students who complete a GED. ACC holds commencement ceremonies in May and December. The college also certifies graduates in August.

Masks welcome, social distancing encouraged.

IMPORTANT: You must be an approved graduation candidate to participate in commencement. The ceremony will be livestreamed on the ACC website and will also be recorded for future viewing.

Of the 1,591 students at Vanguard High School in Mesquite, 1,240 (78%) weren’t on the academic track to qualify for college in the 2023-24 school year, according to SE Dallas News’ analysis of test scores from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
