On Friday, April 25, former Poteet High School standout Adam Byrd’s current college team, the Incarnate Word Cardinals, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.
The game took place at Chapman Field. This was their first matchup against the Islanders this season.
The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 2 p.m. at Chapman Field against Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.
