Congratulations to the 219 students that matched to more than 80 programs during Match Day 2023!

#MatchDay is a nationally recognized day on medical school campuses where fourth-year students discover which residency program they will attend to train in their specialties. Nearly 100% of #UTSW medical school students are matched to residency programs making it 94% above the national average.

Of the 1,591 students at Vanguard High School in Mesquite, 1,240 (78%) weren’t on the academic track to qualify for college in the 2023-24 school year, according to SE Dallas News’ analysis of test scores from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
