City of Mesquite records show that Greg Noschese has been sworn in an Alternate Municipal Court judge.
The court now has three alternate judges, including Janice McKee and Robert Beasley. Having three alternative judges available will allow more comprehensive scheduling versatility in an effort to meet the current workload that the courts face. They will help with arraignments and issuing warrants; have the power to issue emergency protective orders; and work on court docket development.
“Councilman Noschese served our city for many years with distinction and dedication," Mayor Bruce Archer said. "I know that Judge Noschese will continue that excellence in his new leadership role and I’m proud of his continued service to the citizens of Mesquite.”
Noschese sat on the Mesquite City Council from 2008-09 and from 2012-19.
