The second half of 2018: Balch Springs experienced a 27% increase in median home valuations

The median assessed value of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Balch Springs rose by $15,335 while total valuation increased by 7.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 178 homes sold, with a median home valuation of $72,045 - a 27% increase over the $56,710 median valuation for the same period of the previous year. There were 165 homes sold in Balch Springs in the second half of 2017.
