Census Bureau: 73.9% of people in Dallas County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 2,604,722 citizens living in Dallas County in 2021, 73.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,924,278 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 943,364 were male, constituting 49%, and 980,914 were female, making up 51%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Dallas County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
