CITY COUNCIL SCHEDULING NOTE FOR TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH

Our upcoming DeSoto City Council Meeting on Tuesday, September 20th will be busier than usual. As a result there will be NO work session and the regular City Council meeting will start earlier, at 6:00 PM instead of 7:00 PM. This shift allows us to cover all of the important issues on the agenda while still allowing for the 7:00 PM Public Hearing advertised in the initial notices.

Tuesday’s meeting can also be viewed live online, via Facebook Live, and via the City of DeSoto’s Cable Channel.

Here is where you can tune in through the City’s website http://www.desototexas.gov/desototownhall

View it on Facebook Live https://www.facebook.com/desototx  (Please note that the scrolling questions feature on Facebook live is not in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act and questions submitted via this feature cannot and will not be answered).

This meeting will also be broadcast live, depending upon your cable provider that carries City TV programming on either Spectrum (Channel 16), or AT&T Uverse (Channel 99).
