Students enrolled in Spring 2023 credit classes and have no holds preventing registration are eligible to register during Summer/Fall 2023 Priority Registration. Excludes Dual Credit, Transient, and Adult Education students.

Priority Registration with 45+ Credit Hours for current students only (students who are currently enrolled in Spring 2023 credit courses) begins on Monday, April 10  at 7:30 a.m. and continues through Sunday, April 16.

  • What are earned credit hours? Earned credit hours are the sum of undergraduate transfer hours plus undergraduate institutional hours.
  • Where can I view my hours? Pirate Portal > Student Dashboard > Hours & GPA

Payment Deadline: The payment deadline for students who register during Priority Registration is Thursday, May 11 at noon.

Of the 1,591 students at Vanguard High School in Mesquite, 1,240 (78%) weren’t on the academic track to qualify for college in the 2023-24 school year, according to SE Dallas News’ analysis of test scores from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
