Safer-at-home order extended to May 15 by Dallas County Commissioners

A 3-2 vote was put in on April 21 by Dallas County Commissioners to extend the safer-at-home executive order through Friday, May 15. This keeps the current restrictions in place regarding which businesses will remain closed and how many people can gather in public at once.

North Texas Salvation Army expanding services, removing the income verification due to coronavirus

The Salvation Army is expanding its services to cover Collins, Dallas, Tarrant and Ellis counties. As each county is under a different shelter-in-place order, the Salvation Army is pushing to help more families. This will allow a region-wide approach to providing important and essential services to those in need.
