The application deadline for the Master of Fine Arts degree is December 15, 2022 Application materials include the Apply Texas Graduate School application, the Department of Dance Graduate Application Form, a statement of interest indicating professional goals, a resume, three letters of recommendation, a writing sample, and a video portfolio of artistic work.
The MFA auditions will be held on January 26-27th, 2023. The audition consists of taking a dance technique class, teaching a phrase, performing a solo, and an interview with a faculty member. Additionally, the prospective students will meet with current graduates and faculty for lunch and dinner Q&A sessions.
