Sharing Immigration Stories: ACC Hosts ‘Look Beyond Borders Through Stories’ Event

Austin Community College District (ACC) invites students, employees, and the community to discuss immigration experiences in the college’s first Look Beyond Borders Through Stories event. 

When: Thursday, March 23, 2023

Time: Noon to 2 p.m.

Location: Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Campus Center @ ACC Highland, Building 4000 (see map), and via Zoom.

Parking: Free parking is available at the ACC Highland South Parking Garage (see map)

The Look Beyond Borders Through Stories event features a panel of professors to create a safe space for discussion on the historical aspects of immigration and the sociological aspects of a community of immigrants. Students are invited to come and share their immigration stories or those of their ancestors. 

The event is held in partnership with the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Campus Center, ASCENDER, and El Centro.
