There were 2,226 students enrolled in Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy in the 2021-22 school year, 30.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 52.3% of them were boys, and 47.7% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy students was Hispanic, accounting for 44.2% of the student population.

Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy roughly covers schools within Dallas County with its main office in Dallas.

Among the six schools in Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy, Pioneer Technology (Ptaa) Mesquite recorded the highest enrollment of 688 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
