How many students were enrolled in Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy in 2022-23 school year?

There were 2,462 students enrolled in Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy in the 2022-23 school year, 10.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.3% of them were boys, and 48.7% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy students was Hispanic, accounting for 43.1% of the student population.

Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy roughly covers schools within Dallas County with its main office in Dallas.

Among the six schools in Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy, Pioneer Technology (PTAA) Greenville recorded the highest enrollment of 658 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
